Groundwater Shirts
is a project that I started a little more than a year ago. This project focuses on giving new life to old garments.
I collected second hand T-shirts and through
embroidery, silk screening and applique gave them new life. More images of my up-cycled, organic, and bamboo clothing are on line at my websight:
http://www.magpieartanddesigns.com/
.
Two wall pieces that are
collage experiments using
some of my dyed fabrics.

>I LIKE<
J
ust some different garments that I am a fan of
in most cases because of the textural
surfaces.
The sheer print is so simple
but on that fabric
it seems
quite mysterious.
I also love how chunky knitting is used in this piece.
